Since 2003 Filament Group has worked with Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund and Fidelity Charitable Services to help them update and maintain public websites to reflect their mission and vision. In 2006 the Gift Fund embraced a campaign to broadly encourage charitable giving across the United States, and engaged Filament Group to help with a site redesign that supported this goal.
The redesigned sites are bright, energetic and welcoming, and prominently feature giving stories to engage donors.
We worked with the Gift Fund and FCS to develop friendly, accessible sites with a clear relationship to print collateral and larger advertising campaigns, promoting a coherent experience on- and offline. At the same time, we took the opportunity to update site navigation and structure, improve overall content logic and understandability, enhance visual features and feedback to help users understand where they are in the site, and introduce rich interactive demo and calculator tools to help users assess their options and make better decisions.
The new Gift Fund and FCS sites are easy to understand and navigate, provide rich information for novices and experienced donors alike, work quickly and efficiently on the broadest range of computers, browsers and connection speeds, and provide enhanced functionality to ensure that all users will have a rewarding experience.
